📋🎬 Escape the To-Do List: Free Marketing Templates for Your Library Program
This morning, I made 47 executive decisions before 9 a.m.
Can I use your phone to film my stop-motion movie?
Should I launch my baking soda rocket with vinegar or lemon juice?
Where’s the tape? (Top cabinet. Always.)
My kids are deep into one of Mark Rober’s Summer Camp challenges — a stop-motion movie project. And honestly, I love it. Their brains are buzzing. They’re collaborating. They’re creating. It’s the kind of summer activity that makes my nerdy mom heart swell with pride.
But also? I’m hearing ‘Moooom!’ more often than the frame changes in a stop-motion movie.
No, you cannot make elephant’s toothpaste in the house.
Yes, I’ll help take pictures of your 3D-printed figurine — again. And again.
Let’s be real: that mini figure isn’t going to walk off the 3D printer by himself. And I’ve apparently been promoted to backup cinematographer (the vinegar-and-baking soda combo left some messy fingers unfit to touch the camera button).
Which brings me to YOU.
You may not be filming a 3D-printed drama with your kids this summer (although if you are, let’s swap tips). But as a librarian, educator, or programming rockstar, I bet your to-do list is longer than the movie credits.
And that’s exactly why I made this...
Free Marketing Templates for Your Next Library Escape Room
I recently shared a printable escape room called Movie Theater Mayhem — a popcorn-fueled puzzle adventure where kids solve riddles and uncover a secret escape code to save the show.
To help you promote it (without losing your mind), I’ve created a set of free editable marketing templates:
· A printable flyer (hang it up in your library!)
· A social media graphic (just add your details and post)
Just open the Canva templates, update the date, time, and location — and you’re done. No design degree. No late-night formatting headaches.
I’d love your input! Just one quick question…
I’m brainstorming what to include in my upcoming paid membership. A monthly escape room is definitely on the list.
But would it be helpful if I included marketing templates like these too?
Flyers, Instagram graphics, printable signs — the kind of materials you can plug-and-post without spending hours designing?
